Scanner

It is always nice to go to a store and not see a price on the one item that you really want to buy. Then you have to travel all the way up to the front of the store to the register just to ask the cashier how much the product is and to find out that it is way over priced. Well I always like the stores where the employees are all carrying around the Honeywell Barcode Scanner so you can just check with them and save yourself a ton of time. It seems as if honeywell makes a number of different useful products. I know all stores can not afford for this for all their employees but it sure pays if you shop around because they are actually not that expensive if you look around before you order.

Free Coupons

I am a proud coupon clipper and I have not actually just started this. I have been doing it for a while now. I always love to get some great coupons if I see them in the stores. Sometimes I have noticed that the stores even give you coupon books that you can use at other stores. For example here is a coupon book that a grocery store is giving out that you can use anywhere. Replaced the fans

When we moved into our house we thought the living room had a working fan but I guess you should not assume things that you don't know. One thing that taught us is to check everything. Just because its there does not at all mean that it is in working condition. So we have to replace all the ceiling fans. I was actually not to unhappy with the choice because that meant that we could get matching ones for the whole house. It sure looked a lot better then we did that. I love to have a fan in the room and so does Ken. I actually think that it is on every night in the summer and winter months.

Insurance

I went here to look for a new insurance policy. I remember when Ken and I first moved out of our parents houses. The very first think that came to our minds was that we needed to get our very own insurance policy. We did not want to be dishonest and say that we were still living with them even though it would save us a lot of money. In the long run it actually saved us more money getting our own policy because we were smart and did a little shopping around before we committed ourselves to one company. We are still with them and we are happy with our choice even though we still compare price every now and again.

Ouch

When I was little I used to always get canker sores in my mouth. They say they are caused by food that have a lot of citric acid in them and they are so right. I used to eat lemons by the bags as well as pickles by the jars. They were my favorite foods of all time. I guess I have grown out of that considering I don't know the last time I had either one. A Vacation

Every time I have a stressful day at home with the kids the first thing that jumps into my mind is a nice vacation with Ken. I always think it would be super nice to take a vacation with only him like we always used to do before we had kids. I don't mind that they are with us but it sure would be peaceful to relax like we were on our honeymoon again. I like looking at the anaheim hotels. I just picture the beautiful California palms blowing in the breeze. I did hear lately that it is quite cold there right now so maybe I will put off my vacation plans for a little while. I hope to get a nice vacation with Ken soon however. Maybe we can plan on for the middle of next year. I am sure we could save enough by then.

Baby Food Starter Kit

Last week I started Aidan on baby food for the first time. I hated doing it just because it means he is already so big that he can eat food but it was time. Baby it's cold Outside

Well the winter has finally come to my town in Illinois. I have to say the last few days have not been the best for me. I am always cold and I have to leave the house all the time to bring Ben to school and pick him up. It is always so cold in the car when it has been sitting in the driveway all night long. I always try to bring my travel mug with a nice hot beverage to keep me warm while I make the short trip to the school and back. I love picking up a nice hot chocolate from my local starbucks and I am so thankful for the coupons they have available. If I would go there every day without a coupon I would be broke! I always try to get my shopping done around Christmas because all the stores have super great deals. I just happened to score Family Christian Store discounts and bought a cute little people nativity for under my Christmas tree. I chose this one with my three kids because I knew it would be able to with stand a good beating. I love that store and I love coupon codes so I can shop from my home and not drag my kids out into this cold weather when I don't have to.

A Bigger Room

Well if one thing is for sure that is that our house is not big by any means. We are just fine in the space that we have. I however would love to have a larger family room if it was in our budget. Ken on the other hand keeps telling me that we need an LCD HDTV to put on the wall and that would give us all the space that our entertainment center is taking up. Well that might be the case but I don't know how our room would look with such a big television set. I'm sure he would love to have one as would I when we are watching movies.
