Always wrong

I have to say I am not sure what is wrong with the delivery men in our area, but for some strange reason I get something delivered to me once a week that is not mine. They always use the same line when I am chasing them down the street. They tell me that they looked at the street and it was the same as mine. I have the same house number as the street I live on. It seems like they do not really pay attention. If I was not an honest person they would be loosing a lot of packages because they are giving them to the wrong house. I was thinking about getting a home address signs that spell the street name rather than have the number. I wonder if that would have an impact on them reading the numbers right. It sure would be nice to get my packages once in a while.

Teachers Birthday

Last week was one of the teachers birthdays at Maddie's school. It happened to be her teacher. The kids were very excited because they all really love their teacher. They had a small birthday party for her in the classroom on her special day. The kids were all given small little goodie bags and we all chipped in to get the teacher a small gift as well as a floral arrangement in honor of her special day. I have to admit that I am always getting flowers. I do not need really expensive ones but Ken always sends them to me as a surprise. I have never had flowers that were so fresh before I had flowers from online. I would not think they would be as pretty but they are much better than the average florist. I was for sure impressed. As far as the teacher bouquet it was beautiful just as I suspected. She loved them very much and the kids were very excited to give them to her.

New Table

I remember when Ken and I used to have a table in the living room. It was a glass table and when the kids were learning to walk I was always afraid that they would bump their heads. I asked Ken to put it away when they were learning. To be honest it has been done ever since. We just kept having more kids and then they would also learn to walk and I was worried for them as well. No I would say I am ready for a new table. I would really like a rustic dining table to go with our new furniture. I would prefer it to be brown just like our furniture. I think it would make the living room look furnished. Maybe I will look around online to see if I see one that would fit our room.

Car Audio

I will never forget when I got my very first car. I was very excited. I did not have enough money to buy the car so my grandpa bought it for me and allowed me to pay him back when I got paid from my job. He was basically my loan officer. It worked out really well and I got him paid off in no time at all. I was then very excited to update my car audio and get a cd player in the car. I saved for that as well. It was very nice and I loved using it. However one day when I was at a college class someone broke into my car and took it right out of the car. I could not believe it. How could someone steal it from me. I was very upset. I was in the process of getting a new car and I knew that I wanted a cd player as a standard option. I never wanted that to happen again.

Insurance

Insurance is one thing that I really do not like to pay for, but as much as I hate it I would never go without it. I want to buy more insurance for us and for our kids in the near future. I am very happy right now with our insurance companies that we have but that does not mean I would not switch for a better price or coverage. I did not know that there was a separate insurance you need for an rv. Ken and I were looking into getting one and we thought that we should check out how much rv insurance was before we made the purchase. It was very reasonable but we will probably wait until next year to make the purchase. We started looking around late in the year and want to have more choices when we buy.

Awards

In the summer we always try to get the kids into a sport of their choice. Last year Ben did baseball for the very first time. It was t-ball the year before that and soccer as well. He did not really like soccer because he was afraid when the ball was being kicked at him. I decided that then he should not do it this season and maybe we would try it again in the future. Either way the kids always all get trophies to show it is the end of the season. I like that all the players get them because even if some are not as good as others they all did a great job working together. Next year Maddie will be old enough for soft ball and I know she will be very excited as well.

A Shower

I am going this weekend to a wedding shower that is for a friends sister. I really do not know her very well but my friend asked me to come and take pictures of the event. She knows I have a pretty nice camera and has seen some pictures that I have taken and I guess she liked them. I told her by no means am I a professional but she understands thankfully. I know my friend has really been working hard on this shower for the past few weeks. She has done everything for the shower from the Table top displays to the favors. I can not wait to see how it all turns out in the long run. I am sure it will be beautiful.
