Scanner

It is always nice to go to a store and not see a price on the one item that you really want to buy. Then you have to travel all the way up to the front of the store to the register just to ask the cashier how much the product is and to find out that it is way over priced. Well I always like the stores where the employees are all carrying around the Honeywell Barcode Scanner so you can just check with them and save yourself a ton of time. It seems as if honeywell makes a number of different useful products. I know all stores can not afford for this for all their employees but it sure pays if you shop around because they are actually not that expensive if you look around before you order.

I am a proud coupon clipper and I have not actually just started this. I have been doing it for a while now. I always love to get some great coupons if I see them in the stores. Sometimes I have noticed that the stores even give you coupon books that you can use at other stores. For example here is a coupon book that a grocery store is giving out that you can use anywhere. Replaced the fans

When we moved into our house we thought the living room had a working fan but I guess you should not assume things that you don't know. One thing that taught us is to check everything. Just because its there does not at all mean that it is in working condition. So we have to replace all the ceiling fans. I was actually not to unhappy with the choice because that meant that we could get matching ones for the whole house. It sure looked a lot better then we did that. I love to have a fan in the room and so does Ken. I actually think that it is on every night in the summer and winter months.

Insurance

I went here to look for a new insurance policy. I remember when Ken and I first moved out of our parents houses. The very first think that came to our minds was that we needed to get our very own insurance policy. We did not want to be dishonest and say that we were still living with them even though it would save us a lot of money. In the long run it actually saved us more money getting our own policy because we were smart and did a little shopping around before we committed ourselves to one company. We are still with them and we are happy with our choice even though we still compare price every now and again.

Ouch

When I was little I used to always get canker sores in my mouth. They say they are caused by food that have a lot of citric acid in them and they are so right. I used to eat lemons by the bags as well as pickles by the jars. They were my favorite foods of all time. I guess I have grown out of that considering I don't know the last time I had either one. A Vacation

Every time I have a stressful day at home with the kids the first thing that jumps into my mind is a nice vacation with Ken. I always think it would be super nice to take a vacation with only him like we always used to do before we had kids. I don't mind that they are with us but it sure would be peaceful to relax like we were on our honeymoon again. I like looking at the anaheim hotels. I just picture the beautiful California palms blowing in the breeze. I did hear lately that it is quite cold there right now so maybe I will put off my vacation plans for a little while. I hope to get a nice vacation with Ken soon however. Maybe we can plan on for the middle of next year. I am sure we could save enough by then.

Baby it's cold Outside

Well the winter has finally come to my town in Illinois. I have to say the last few days have not been the best for me. I am always cold and I have to leave the house all the time to bring Ben to school and pick him up. It is always so cold in the car when it has been sitting in the driveway all night long. I always try to bring my travel mug with a nice hot beverage to keep me warm while I make the short trip to the school and back. I love picking up a nice hot chocolate from my local starbucks and I am so thankful for the coupons they have available. If I would go there every day without a coupon I would be broke! I always try to get my shopping done around Christmas because all the stores have super great deals. I just happened to score Family Christian Store discounts and bought a cute little people nativity for under my Christmas tree. I chose this one with my three kids because I knew it would be able to with stand a good beating. I love that store and I love coupon codes so I can shop from my home and not drag my kids out into this cold weather when I don't have to.

A Bigger Room

Well if one thing is for sure that is that our house is not big by any means. We are just fine in the space that we have. I however would love to have a larger family room if it was in our budget. Ken on the other hand keeps telling me that we need an LCD HDTV to put on the wall and that would give us all the space that our entertainment center is taking up. Well that might be the case but I don't know how our room would look with such a big television set. I'm sure he would love to have one as would I when we are watching movies. Looking for Parts?

Have you ever had a jeep? I have never had one before. I actually have not really had many cars in my lifetime. I guess I have not really needed them. I always wonder why some people think they need a new car every year. It always made me wonder if they really loved always making those payments and never being finished with them. I would think that if you were always upgrading your car then you would have to start over with your payments every time. I sure am glad when we mail our last car payment in to the bank. I would surely not want to have another payment for many years if ever at all. I guess I would have to if the car broke down but not before that's for sure. Something I use

Now this is actually something I use all the time, it called True Lemon. It can be added to bottled water for that fresh lemon taste or you can use it in your cooking. However I don't always have them in the house and I do not like the artificial taste some give. Clean Teeth

Clean teeth has to be one of my favorite feelings. I love that when I do to the dentist my teeth feel great. I always catch myself running my tongue across them and feeling the fresh feeling. I have been going to the dentist since before I could talk. That is one thing that I always remember my parents making me do as a child. I did not go to the doctor unless I was sick but the dentist was always a must. There was no missing an appointment. I remember when I meet Ken he always used to go to the dentist school at the community college. He would absolutely hate it because it took all day just to get his teeth cleaned. Well one day when I told him I had an dentist appointment he thought I was going to be gone all day. I never was there for more than an hour I told him. When ever you go to the stores now you just happen to see they are selling calendars. Well that is not to amazing considering that the end of the year is right around the corner. Got a Truck

One thing that I have always liked are really big Trucks. I'm not talking about a semi but the regular trucks people drive around town. I have always wanted a truck myself but I don't really think that would work for us right now with three small kids all in car seats. I just might get a truck someday when the kids are all older. When I was younger I always loved taking my dads truck places. I thought it was really fun partially because I got to sit int the front seat because there was really no back seat to the truck. Then when Christmas came around I would always want to buy my dad truck accessories for his gift. The one thing I always would buy him every year was a truck seat cover. Precious Memories

Did you ever notice that with a digital camera it is always so easy to just put the pictures you have on your computer and save them without ever printing out your images. Well I do that all the time the only thing is with me I also always take my camera to the store and burn them on a cd before I delete them. The reason being because my pictures are so important to me that I would be devastated if I lost them. It is so easy to forget though since we now have so much technology that we no longer use actual film. That is why online backup is so important. It protects all of the contents on your computer so you will never loose anything you will miss. Ken is pretty good at always backing up the computer every couple months just in case something should happen. Don't loose everything that is important to you. Back your computer files up just in case a virus should strike.

Change your Filter

Every month is actually the rule when it comes to changing your air filters on the furnace. That is one thing that I did not know when we first moved into our house. I was working one day at Menard's and I was talking to a fire man and he was telling me that you are suppose to change it once a month. He was saying that people do not realize the extra money they are forking over every month just because their furnace has to work over time to get the air out because their filter is blocking it from coming through. From that day I always make sure to have the filter changed every month. Ken actually does it on the last day of the month every month. We always buy about a dozen filters at a time because some months you can not get them as easily. The air still gets pushed through the filter when the aid conditioning is on so a filter change is necessary then as well. Change your filter and notice the difference on your energy bills.

Green Tea

I myself am not much of a tea drinker. It's not that I don't like tea because the truth is I have never even tried tea before. I don't know why but it reminds me of coffee in which I have also never tried. I have a fear of staining my teeth with it. Where to stay

I have always been one to stay in hotels. I remember when I was little we would always take a family vacation every year. My parents would plan it out all year every place we would go to make sure that we seen all the historical sights in the area as well as the fun places to go. Sometimes we would stay in hotels and sometimes we would stay in my grandparents vacation houses they had. We would always stay in their house when we went to Florida. It sure saved us a lot of money but now that they have passed we need to find daytona beach hotel deals so that we can still save money and have a great time. The way I figure it is that if you save on your hotel you have more money to spend on attractions, and when I go on vacation I love to visit all the attractions.

Breath Right

One thing that I have never tried was the breath right strips. I don't really know why but I just always assumed that they were for people that would snore really loud. I know it is not a healthy condition for people to snore. That's is one reason that I am super glad that Ken and I do not snore. I remember my mom always sleeping with ear plugs because my dad used to snore so loud that she could not sleep. I never want that to happen to Ken and I. I did however see that these strips are also used for congestion. I sure would have liked to know that last week when my sinus infection was terrible and keeping me up at night. Ping Pong

When I was a little girl on thing that we always had was a ping pong table. I don't really know why all of us kids thought it was so much fun but we really could all play for hours. May parents had a table and so did my grandma and grandpa. On the holidays all us kids would have competitions with one another and it was always a good time. I guess that is why I still really enjoy playing games with my kids and my family. I think that games bring a family much closer than watching a movie or television together. They have some really nice ping pong tables online that I would love to have for our basement. Now if we just had the extra space to play down there I would surely order one. A new Bath

This is for sure going to be our winter project. I would like it to get done something this year but you never really know what will come up. Ken has been wanting to rip the tile off the walls of the bathroom. I know it will be a bigger project than it seems because all the dry wall will have to be replaced after the tiles get torn off. I did find these Toto toilets and think that it will be a nice space saver in our small bathroom because it does not have the big tank on the back of the seat. That means less area to hold germs and faster cleaning for me. I think I might look into one of these toilets. With five people using the same toilet it gets pretty dirty fast. I will have to run it past Ken and see what he thinks.

Free Diaper

When you have a baby nothing beats a free diaper. That is one thing that I always sign up for even if I don't need the size or maybe it is to big but I will always use it down the line. If the diaper is to small I always pass it down to Madison and she uses it for her baby dolls. She is always asking me for Aidan's diapers and it is much less expensive for me to give her all the samples I get in the mail. The Stroller

When Ken and I first found out that we were having our first baby we were very excited. I now have three kids and I have to say nothing is as exciting as the very first baby. The first time is when you go to all the stores and register for all the different little baby item most that you never even use. It is amazing at how with your first baby everything seems like a good idea but you soon realize that the wipes warmer you thought was a great idea really is not worth having to add water to every day just to change a diaper. I did notice thought that it would be a great idea to have a stroller that had more that one function. For one it saves time and space, and it also saves money so you don't have to buy so many different baby products. I was really impressed with the Baby jogger city select because it has over 16 different functions. It goes from a stroller to a bassinet. Now that is impressive and worth the money. It sure would be on my list if I was in the market for a stroller.

I have to tell you that I am such a teeth person. I love brushing and taking care of my teeth and my kids. I brush at least twice a day usually many more times than that. I also am using dental floss picks every night. I however have to use certain ones because my teeth are so closer together sometimes I can not get some brands between my teeth. The Perfect Gift

A couple years ago my mom and dad bought a huge entertainment center for their tv. Well it turned out that my mom has hated it since the day they moved it into their living room. It was not returnable because they bought it from a friend but ever since she has wanted a new one. I thought this Christmas would be the perfect time to look into tv stands so they could have a new one. One of the main reasons they wanted a new one was because the one the bought was so big that it takes up almost to much room in their small living room. Looking forward to the end

Every semester that Ken goes to school I really dread the start of it. I just miss him being gone all the time and I know the kids miss him even more. I always have to remind myself that in the end it will be so worth it. He will have the job of his dreams and he might even be his own boss someday and will be home even more. I was checking out classes that might help him achieve the leadership skills so that he will be able to manage many people and advance in his carer. With the help of the Organizational development university he will get the education to help him achieve his goals. They can help him build the confidence he will need to face any employer and apply for those jobs that he thought was out of reach. Maybe with the extra help of this university he will be on track even faster.

My Business

Ken and I have always wanted to someday own our own business. I think it has something to do with the fact that we would be our own boss and that we could always take time away whenever we needed it. It would also be nice to hire our own employees instead of actually being the employee. When you own your own business I guess there are many different things you need that you tend to forget about when its just a dream. One thing is business insurance in case something happens you don't want to have to come up with the cash to fix it yourself. You can find quotes online for just about any business.

A Dream

Ken always tells me that I should sell a couple of the baking goods that I make. He loves them and so does some other people I know. I sometimes think that he is just being nice because i am his wife. It does however mean a lot when I get it from a total stranger. Dreaming of Vacation

I have to tell you since it has been super cold outside these day I have been dreaming of vacation spots. I always think of warm places when it is so cold. It seems like this past summer never came. I think that we had a hot week only a couple days. I did not mind at the time since I was pregnant but now that I am not I wish I could lay on the beach and soak up the sunshine. I know that on the website the Outer Banks beach rentals look like an amazing vacation spot. Maybe next year we can take a vacation.

Have you seen the newest little computers? They are quite small but still pack in the same qualities of a larger laptop. They are called netbooks. I happen to think they are just the perfect size for a student at college or even in high school. You can carry them with you without all the weight of a larger lap top. I am really considering getting my sister one this upcoming Christmas. I know that she really wants to have a computer and I think it would be perfect. Who ever thinks of loosing weight the old fashion way anymore. I think that the first thing that comes to mind when you think of going on a diet to loose a couple extra pounds is weight loss pills. They can be of great help if you use them correctly. Of course you can not go and eat twinkies every single day and still think that you are going to be shedding the pounds. Going Camping

On thing that I have always loved to do was to go camping. As a little girl we even went to the campground and sometimes we even used my grandpas camper. I liked using the camper because if it rained you were in a nice dry area rather than a tent. I have never actually slept in a camper that had wheels before. It is something that I have always wanted to do. I often think that when Ken and I get to be of retirement age we would get in a big camper and tour the country. What if we were to break down? I guess then we would need to get an rv towing company. Who knew they had companies just to tow your rv. Well that sure is nice to know they are there to help if you need the 24 hours a day.

Im starting.

Yep you have heard me right I am starting the search for the best diet pills on the market because I want to give them a try for my personal use. I need to do something about my weight before I gain anymore pounds. I would like to try and get rid of all the weight I have gained over the years from having three babies. Vacation

I remember as a child one of my favorite vacation spot was in Florida. I and my parents would go there quite a bit because I grandparents owned condos in Destin Florida. It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel because you had more space. I had my own room away from my parents. It was kind of like we lived there as well as in Illinois. We would go see all that Florida had to offer in all the surrounding cities. It sure was nice to escape the hotel vacation an actually live in a condo while on vacation. You can rent a condo for your next family vacation. You will really enjoy the difference.

I remember...

I remember when I had my first baby. I was leaving the hospital with Ben thinking "what do I do now?" I had this new baby the hospital just lets you walk out the door with but does not provide you with an instruction booklet on how to care for them. I was not the dumbest when it came to babies but I did not know everything. Thankfully for you new moms I found this book from beechnut that might help you out. Going to school

Well I have to admit I was doing really good at going back to school but I have burned myself out the last couple semesters because I took to many classes. I was trying to get done but then I stopped when I had the baby and now it is even harder for me to get back on the wagon again. I was looking at a medical assistant training school so that I could finish sooner before I stopped going. I am going to go back maybe next year. I know that I want to work days when the kids are in school. I have some time yet because I want to be the one that is there for them during the day time. We are in no financial trouble that I need to work now so there is no rush. I do look forward to it in the future.

Keeping up

I personally am not one that always has to keep up with the other people in the world. As a matter of fact I usually am the last to get the new technology but I am actually fine with it. I know some people have to have everything first and need to have the biggest and the best of everything but that is not me. I was in fact just looking at ipods the other day. I really have never looked into getting one before. I thought it would be nice to have when I was going for my nightly walk. They have pretty good prices on them now. Do you have one yet?

Great Savings

When Ken and I first got together way back in 1999 I have to say we were two dumb kids. I can not believe how we used to just spend money like we were super rich or something. Well needless to say we learned the hard way. We are slowly pulling ourselves out of debt by saving where ever possible. I now am a coupon clipper when I go to the grocery stores as well as when I shop online. I have a few sites that I always return to because they always keep the coupons up to date unlike some places where you can get coupons that expired ten years ago. You can get some pretty good deals at places like overstock.com especially if you have an online coupon. My all time favorite place to shop for Ken is eforcity because I can get great deals on electronic stuff for Ken for his special days. Where ever I shop I am looking for an online coupon. It just helps me save some extra cash so I can get out of debt faster.

New TV

Well it seems as if we just bought a new tv a couple years ago. In actuality we really did just buy it. However we are not sure what happened to ours now. We suspect that one of the kids put a magnet to it because there is a spot that the color is bad on it. Well what are we to do but save for a new one. I was thinking that we could get a plasma tv next and Ken is all for that idea. So I was looking around for plasma mounts so we can get an average price on the whole package. Well it seems we will have to save for a while but in time we will get one when this old tv goes out for good.

Helping A Friend

I have a very good friend that lives in Washington. A couple weeks ago she called me and asked me if I could help her out. Well I said sure I would love to try but being so far away I was not really sure what she had in mind of me helping her. It turned out that she just wanted me to help her looking up a couple things on the internet. She had a virus on her computer and was not able to go it herself. Looking for something?

In just a few weeks Ken and my cell phone contract will be over and we will be eligible for new free phones. Of Course we will again have to sign another two year contract. I really don't mind signing and neither does Ken but it would be nice to get a new phone and maybe skip the part about the contract. I Love Babies

One thing that I love so much are little babies. I especially love my own babies. One thing that I love about when a new baby is coming I love to go to baby showers. I love to go shopping and pick out tons of cute little baby outfits for the new parents to be. I remember when Ken and I had our baby shower it was so nice to receive all the stuff from your family and friends. Remember the days

I remember the days when I worked on of my very first jobs. It was at a little pharmacy in the town that I grew up in. The place was tiny but I loved the job. I really wish that it never went out of business but they were really behind in the times and that is why they went under. They never had anything close to the POS systems they have today. Everything there was done by hand. The inventory was priced by hand and kept track of by hand. I always wonder if they would have updated maybe they would still be in business. Patio Set

One thing that Ken and I really enjoy is sitting outside. I love so sit outside when it is really nice outside and when the sun is setting. Since we have lived in this house we have had a picnic table and a regular table for the outside but I still have yet to get a really nice patio furniture set. I want one that is big enough for my family to sit at but that does not require much maintenance. I really don't have the time to rush in the cushions when it rains nor do I have the memory to do so. Alway wanted to go

You know I have this friend that always goes on a Caribbean cruise every single year. She has been doing this since I have was in high school. I was always asked if I wanted to go with her but my parents would never let me go. I know they were worried but I always wanted to give it a try.

Be Prepaired

One thing that I always like to do is to prepare for the future. I do not like to wait until something happens in order to get motivated to take some action. New shoes

Every time it is time to dress up for church I am sifting through my shoes to try and find something that looks good with the outfit that I have chosen. Glass Tile

When I went to the hospital to have our newest little baby one thing that I noticed right away was the remodel they did on the whole hospital. I really liked what they did with the bathroom. Need a Stamp

Just about every month I get little address labels from different companies in the mail. They always want me to donate money to their cause in thanks of them giving me the gift of address labels. What I don't understand is why they mail the labels out to you before you give to their cause because I never get around to giving back to them. Sometimes I run out of samples because I don't give to their causes. I have ordered custom rubber stamps with my address son when I run out it is nice and easy and I don't have to write my address on the envelopes. Going on Vacation

Already so many times this year Ken has tried to get me to go on a weekend vacation with the kids. Full again

One thing I love is my notebook computer. I was so thankful when I got it for Christmas because it makes it really when I am playing outside in the summer time with the kids. Working Out

Hungry Again

Summer

Oh the days of summer are near hopefully. One thing that I love about summer is that it is the time for swimming and tanning. I love to play in the pool when the weather is hot. I would like to have one of those pool floats lounges next time we go to Texas to use in my aunts huge pool. That way I can do two of my favorite things which is swimming and tanning at the same time. I might order my aunt one for her birthday and have it sent to her address. I know that sometimes things around my house things can get pretty crazy. With my son starting school I try to keep everything straight but sometimes things do get lost and can get a little messy. Breeches

Every time Ken and I go to the race track we have a really great time. We never bet a ton of money but it is fun t spend two dollars on a race and see if your choice o horse comes in first place or not. I always like to watch how the different jockeys race and what they are wearing. I wonder where they get their different breeches. Who knew there was so many different styles. Well in this economy one thing that is pretty hard to find is a job. Some people I know have been actively looking for a job for at least six months or longer even. The Garage

Well it is that time again to switch your project list for the inside of you house back to the outside. I noticed that the garage was pealing pain again this year and it is getting really bad this year. So we ill need to pain it. It is long overdue. However sometimes I wish that we had the option of looking at the steel buildings website when they put up our garage. These buildings are very low maintenance. You don't have to paint and I love that. They have tons of building for all sizes and each and every one is low maintenance.

I always love t get trash bag samples i the mail. I usually take advantage of them in the kids room throwing out old toys that they no longer play with or cleaning out a closet. Remembering Back

I used to work at a pharmacy when I was sixteen years old. I have to say that I loved it. It was the best job that I ever had because I worked with friends. It was fun. It was in my town ad I got to know just about everyone that came in there. I also did many things there like take a pricing gun and mark everything with the gun. We did not have a POS system. We typed in every price at the register and added it the old fashioned way. I liked that way but it was hard to keep track of the inventory because we always needed to count everything. It would have been more efficient on time to use POS system. I wonder it the pharmacy would still be in business today if they used that system.

Not so easy

Weight loss is no so easy. Many people try every year when he first of the year comes around. They think that it i the perfect thing to start on the first day of the year. Light fixtures

When we moved into our house a couple years ago the bathroom was a mess. Ken had to rip out the whole floor and also replace the toilet and sink. Moving

I remember when Ken and I first bought our house. We were so nervous but it was not that bad because we had already been living on our own and knew the responsibilities that came along with it. It was a huge move because we lived there for a while and when we moved the first time we put what we had in our cars and now we needed a truck rental. There was a lot more stuff than when we first moved out. I can not even imagine how hard it will be next time we make a big move. We will have three kids and a whole house full of stuff. Tickets for summer

When I was little one thing that I always remember doing is gogin to the baseball games with my parents. It was always fun to sit and enjoy a hot dog on the base ball field. Oh A Vacation

Oh I was listening on the news today and I heard that they said that we should expect to get some snow maybe over the weekend. Well that is a little depressing because I was hoping that it was over for the year. I hope that it is soon because I really want to get some grass seeds planted and growing for Ben's birthday party. I think that right now would be the perfect time for looking into different cruises as a mini vacation to escape the cold weather that is coming upon us again. I always feel sorry for my parents because they always put off buying a new bed. I know they really need one. One thing that I do not know much about is auto parts. I really do not know how to explain a problem if our car is making a weird sound. Many people that we do know happen to be pretty good at cars. Ken is getting better but he was not always as good as he is now. He has learned a few things because we had to fix a couple things on the car so we know now what that problem sounds like. Tough times

Well times are tough right now for everyone. Not just people in the Us but for other countries as well. I know a lot has to do with the job market being so low and the unemployment's rates continuing to rise. May are trying to find jobs hunting in the papers or online. I have noticed that jobs in logistics seem to be doing quite well. you can go online and see the many different positions they have to offer you. It might be the best thing out there right now. Free Baby formula

Well as everybody know by now I am having another little one this coming June. i always love the summer baby because you can plan so much more for parties. It is also nicer when the kids get a little older you have do more things outside for kids their age. Well with a baby for some does not mean baby formula but for me it does. I have never been into nursing my kids and I am not going to start now. I don't have a very good take on it.
