I don't know about your husband of significant other but it seems like when ever I buy Ken a new cologne I love it in the store and then when he wears it I do not like the smell. It has to do with his body chemistry and the way he makes different things smell. It actually happens to everyone and not just him. Everybody has a different smell and can make the same sent smell totally different. That is one of the reasons that I like to take home a sample first to see if I am going to like it.
