Making it Easier

One thing that my kids do not enjoy doing is going to the doctors office. I don't really know why they have a fear of this office but I think it has to do with Aidan always going and getting shots. Since he is little he always has to get a shot when he goes. The other kids just assume that it is bad news if they have to go as well. One of the main reasons that they kids even go into the office is that they like to look at all the different nursing uniform scrubs. It seems like all the different nurses in our office have cute little medical scrubs on that have cartoon characters the kids recognize. I always show that to them the second we walk through the door. I think it calms them down a little and makes them realize that the doctor is not that bad.

I think that a different medical scrub is not to see once in a while. So many times do you come across places that only have one color scrub and its on everyone in the building. I like places that allow you to show your personality.

Do you love Shoes?

Okay I have to admit I have a small addiction with shoes. Ken thinks that it is ridiculous but he also laughs about it. I am always buying shoes. It is not just a shoe addiction for me however I am always buying everyone in my family shoes. If it is a good price and the shoe fits than I am going to buy it. I remember buying some shoes on clearance for Maddie when I was pregnant with her. They were actually shoes that she did not even wear till last year. I guess that means I have had them for about four years. Crazy I know.
However when I find a good sale I can not pass up the deal. I love to wear new shoes and it is not like any of them ever go to waste. I love all kinds of shoes. I like the Prada shoes as well as the low cost everyday shoes you get at the store. If you would look by our front door I can almost guarantee that I will have five pairs of different shoes that are just mine alone. My daughter probably has about five pair as well. Ken on the other had will only have one. I really don't remember the last time I wore a pair of shoes out and had to toss them. Well now that I found another good deal I might grab another pair.

Getting Some Boots

I personally have never been a big fan of winter boots. I have never really had a pair that was super comfortable. One thing I hate about boots is that when ever you take them off your socks always come off as well. I was really excited last year when I found a pair of ugg boots that I really liked. I could not wait to buy them. I like the fact that I could wear them and they looked cute and they were comfortable. They were not your average ugly winter boot. I could not really buy them at the time so I put it off. I did not want to get them because I did not know if I was really going to wear them.
However I realized that they were totally in fashion and I would wear them. I made the choice to go back to the store and get them. Would you believe that when I went back they no longer had my size. I was actually really upset. This year I am not waiting. I found a cute pair and I am buying them now. I do have big feet and it seems that the bigger sizes usually go first. Apparently I'm not the only one with big feet. I am grabbing these boots today!

We Need A Vacation Everyday

If you are a reader of my blogs than you already know that my husband and I have three small kids. In fact they are all under six years old. The picture above happens to be my middle child at her finest. She is the only little girl we have and she is just that a girl. She loves to dress up and play baby dolls but most of all she has figured out that when she cries she gets what she wants from her brothers. This face is something that Ken and I see all the time. This face is why we need a vacation almost everyday.

One thing that we noticed is that when we are not home our three beautiful children are like angels. It seems they are perfect when we go on vacation but when we are home they all become monsters. Last year we planned a vacation to Florida and it was a blast. This year we are planning something more simple but even more relaxing. With three kids we need a big place for them to explore and enjoy. I personally need a pool and Ken needs recreation. I was looking for the perfect place and I came across Carolina Designs. It looks like there will be enough room in these rentals for my whole family. It has just the things that catches Ken's eye while I can relax at our pool all day with the kids. The Outer Banks beach rentals looks like our perfect family vacation. We might just be able to relax and all have a little fun. Hopefully we can escape the wonderful sad face and turn it into fun family memories.

Helping out

The other day my grandma called me because she was wondering if I could look up a few places for Dallas auto repair in her area. I am pretty good at looking up things on the Internet and she knows that. I also like to look things up on the Internet because you can look to see if the place you are looking for has any good or bad reviews. It seems that if you type any business in an online search then you get some sort of results. She was looking for someone because she needs to get a brake job on her little truck. She has not replaced them since she bought the truck used so she did not know what the price was going to be to get it done.
Ken would really like to get a new car sometime soon. He has his eye on the Chevrolet Silverado. I would love to have one of those but I need something that is able to hold three car seats at the same time. I don't think that we will all fit into a Silverado. maybe Ken could get one to use it to get to and from work and school. I know he would like a new car and maybe that will be his first choice. I wonder what color he would choose.

Free Carefree

I personally do not really use pads very often. I really do not like how they feel. I do like to keep them in the house in case if I really need them. You never know when you will need them. Since I really do not use them very often I do not like to buy a whole package so I like to keep the samples around the house. I do like a sample in the closet every now and again. More Channels

The other day the local cable company informed us that they were going to star and cut channels. Every once in a while I notice that we loose a few channels. It is really not that big of a deal to me because I personally am not really a huge television watcher in the first place. I would much rather be on the computer talking to friends or updating my blogs.
Ken noticed that he could get Direct TV packages by DirectSatTV for a pretty good price. He said that he could get a lot more channels for not that much of a price difference. He said that with the new government dish rules it seems as if the tv companies are getting better.
I think Ken was really trying to sell me on the idea of getting Direct TV by DirectSatTV. I always tell him that he does not have to ask me if he wants to get something. I don't care as long as we have the money to pay for it. He is the one that is working so if he wants it then order it. He said he still likes for me to want it as well. I really don't watch a lot of tv so I can personally live without it. We still have not decided what we will get if anything but it is still in our memory. Ken makes sure he reminds me every once in a while if he thinks that I have forgot about the service. I don't forget but I just don't know if I want the service.

Prep

When the end of high school came I have to say I was not prepared. I still really did not know what I wanted to do with my life like some people. It seemed like they knew what they wanted to do forever. I was not really sure. I could not decide to do only one thing for the rest of my working life. I took the lsat prep so that I can get a better score but I still could not decide.
When I was younger I always wanted to be a police officer. When I entered college I took lots of criminal justice classes and really enjoyed them. It was fun learning about different police measures. I then changed my mind again. I think I have decided now and I know that I can get it done if I try to stick to it.
If you are in high school there really is no better way to prepare for the Isat test. You never know what it will be like. I always like to prepare.

A New Kitchen

One thing that I really want it a new kitchen. I did not think that having a small kitchen would really bother me when we bought the house. Nothing could have possibly been as small as our apartment kitchen and we only had one child at the time. I now have three kids and would love to have a double sink. I was looking at Elkay sinks because they have some really nice under mounted ones that caught my eye. It would be nice to be able to sweep the counter crumbs right into the bowl with out having to dig it out of the cracks.
It is really funny because when you buy your first house you don't really seem as picky as you would be the second time. Ken and I already have a list going on what we expect our next house to have. I want a big eat in kitchen because I like room to cook for the family. I also would like to have a pool at the house if not add one on ourselves. It's funny how you expect so much more the second time around.

Free Vitamins

Do you take your vitamins? I personally do not and I know that I probably should. I give the kids vitamins but I myself do not take them. I think the reason that I do not take them is because I hate how big they always are. They seem so huge to swallow. I have never seen adult gummy vitamins until this free sample. Detox

I have never personally had anyone that I know die from drugs. I do know some people that have used drugs themselves and that have had loved ones die way to early in their life because of these addicting drugs. It is so sad to me when I see young people thinking that it is the cool thing to do when they are smoking and using drugs. If they could only channel their energy into something useful I am sure we would have a much better world to live in. Many people these days are not only addicted to street drugs but to legal drugs given top them from a doctor.
I would have to say that is the most amazing thing to me when doctor given drugs become the problem. There is help out there. The opiate detox can make you a new person. They make you as comfortable as you can possibly be during this time period. I would think personally the doctor would be able to tell if your becoming hooked on a product but that is not always the case.

Oxygen

I used to always think that my grandmothers sister seemed so much younger than her. I think it had something to do with my grandma being a few years older than her but also my great aunt used to dye her hair and my grandmother did not. My great aunt was a smoker and did have some problems but my grandmother seemed older because she was heavier and was able to do less. I always think of the fun times I had with my grandma and I miss her at times.
Now when I see my great aunt and she is still smoking I see why she needs an evergo oxygen concentrators. I never knew my grandma to smoke and I am still surprised my aunt still does after the problems that she has sleeping. I wish she would stop smoking because it really makes you loose years on your life. I am thankful I never had a smoking habit although I did try it one time in my life. Once was for sure enough. It was the worst tasting thing I ever had in my mouth. I often wonder why people can not kick the habit.
